Voting for the European Parliament elections has started in Slovakia. It is held three weeks after the assassination attempt against the Prime Minister of the Republic, Robert Fico. Participation in the elections may reach 44 percent. Polling stations in Slovakia opened at 07:00. Voting will last until 22:00. The results will become clear on the afternoon of June 9.
