There are citizens of the Republic of Artsakh who had pension savings, but the government took them away.
Artur Khachatryan, deputy of the "Hayastan" faction, said this in a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly today.
"After the war, depopulation, ethnic cleansing, people have serious socio-economic problems.
Most people hope for those savings, that's the first thing. Secondly, why did the authorities suddenly decide to take the money of the people of Artsakh and use it at their own discretion?
If they automatically bring the citizens of the Republic of Artsakh to the legal regime of RA citizens, then why are they not so consistent in all issues, let them offer RA citizenship to everyone and say that whoever does not want it can refuse.
People's savings are taken from their hands, they say, we put them on such accounts," said the deputy.
According to Khachatryan, the money of the people of Artsakh is given to the pension fund, which makes an investment, without seeking his consent.
