The leader of the Moldovan Socialists did not rule out the impeachment of Sandu


Igor Dodon, the leader of the opposition Socialist Party of Moldova, does not rule out that the next parliament will raise the issue of the impeachment of the country's president, Maya Sandu.

The second round of presidential elections was held in Moldova on November 3. The pro-Western president Maia Sandu got 55.33% of the votes, former Prosecutor General, candidate of the opposition Socialist Party, Alexander Stoyanoglou, born in Gagauzia, got 44.67%.

At the same time, after processing 100% of the protocols from the election precincts within the country, Stoyanoglo received 51.19% of the votes, Sandu - 48.81%. In the past, Dodon repeatedly criticized the electoral process, pointing out possible frauds during the voting. The next parliamentary elections in Moldova are scheduled for the summer of 2025.
