Chinese President Xi Jinping called on France and China to make greater contributions to the healthy development of China-Europe relations. He made a corresponding statement at the meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Rio de Janeiro within the framework of the G20 summit.
"The two sides should strengthen strategic cooperation and mutual support, maintain the healthy and stable dynamics of China-France relations, and make greater contributions to the healthy development of China-EU relations," China Central Television quoted.
The Chinese president also emphasized China's willingness to continue to intensify high-level exchanges with France and deepen exchanges and cooperation in cultural, educational and other humanitarian fields.
