NATO countries independently decide whether to cancel the restrictions on the use of weapons by Ukraine to attack Russian territory. This was announced by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, arriving at the meeting of EU defense ministers in Brussels.
"It is the decision of individual allies what to do. I will not talk about what the allies should do," he said.
The General Secretary added that he considers it necessary to "generally inform about decisions as little as possible publicly, so as not to make the enemy wiser."
Rutte also noted that the issue of increasing aid to Ukraine will be discussed at the meeting of EU defense ministers.
"We will discuss how we can help Ukraine win," he added.
