The President of Georgia submitted a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court regarding the results of the elections

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili filed a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, protesting the violation of voting secrecy and universal suffrage during the parliamentary elections held on October 26.

"This lawsuit involves two major violations of constitutional rights. the first is a violation of generality, which implies that our fellow citizens living abroad have been limited in their constitutional rights. The second important principle is the protection of voting secrecy.

There is more than one evidence that the secrecy of the vote was violated, which is a violation of the constitutional standard," Beselia told reporters.
