The response to the attacks of Western long-range missiles on the territory of Russia will be adequate and tangible, stated the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
According to him, the use of such weapons by Kiev will radically change the nature of the conflict.
"The use of long-range missiles by Kiev will mean the direct participation of the US and its satellites in military operations against Russia, and in this case there will be a radical change in the nature and nature of Russia's response, which is adequate and tangible," the diplomat said.
He noted that it is not yet known whether these statements are based on official sources or not.
"One thing is clear, amid the defeats of the Kiev regime, its Western sponsors are betting on the maximum escalation of the hybrid war unleashed against Russia, trying to achieve the illusory goal of inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow. However, none of the miraculous weapons that Zelensky and his henchmen are praying for can affect the course of the special operation," Zakharova emphasized.
In this context, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled the words of the Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 25, when the Russian leader clearly stated what the wording "permission" for the use of NATO's high-precision long-range weapons really means.
"He emphasized that Ukraine itself does not have the ability to carry out such attacks without the use of space satellites and the introduction of flight missions by the military of NATO countries," Zakharova explained.
