US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Kyiv to discuss the aid provided to Ukraine by Washington. This is reported by Reuters.According to him, Blinken arrived in Kyiv by train "on an unannounced visit". It is noted that this is the first visit of a high-ranking American official to Ukraine after the US Congress approved a request for additional military aid to Kiev.According to a US administration official, during his visit Blinken intends to discuss how Kiev plans to use US arms supplies to "strengthen its defenses" and try to "regain the initiative on the battlefield".
