The 94 kg weightlifters entered the competition on the regular day of the World Championship held in Cali, Colombia. This is reported by the Weightlifting Federation of Armenia.
Alen Zurabyan from the Armenian national team lifted 130 kg, 134 kg and 137 kg in the snatch exercise with three successful approaches. In the push exercise, he held 166 kg, 176 kg and 180 kg overhead.
In this form, he became a silver medalist. Alen Zurabyan became the second champion of the world championship with the result of 317 kg in the two-fight event.
