In the 4th round of the 4th subgroup of the European zone of the tennis Davis Cup held in the main sports complex of Tsaghkadzor, the Armenian national team defeated the Albanian national team with a score of 3:0.
As part of the Armenian team, Samvel Aghayan and Davit Poghosyan won in singles, and Mikayel Avanesyan and Avetik Ghazaryan won in doubles.
The Armenian team secured the 2nd place and qualified for the 3rd subgroup. In the last round to be held today, the Armenian team will compete with the leading Maltese team.
In the previous rounds, the Armenian team defeated the teams of Andorra (3:0), San Marino (2:1) and Iceland (2:1).
