As a result of operational-investigative measures carried out by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, factual information was obtained that a group of persons acting on behalf of the "Strong Armenia" party paid electoral bribes to a number of citizens, including in a disguised manner, on the condition of voting for the mentioned party during the RA National Assembly elections to be held on June 7, 2026. This is reported by the Anti-Corruption Committee. In addition, it was found that the person acting on behalf of the "Strong Armenia" party violated the ban on charity during the election, in the conditions that the regular election of the National Assembly was scheduled by the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, and information was also received regarding the material interest of the citizens in order to participate in the rallies. Regarding the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, a number of searches were conducted, and five persons were arrested.
