On May 27, under the patronage of His Holiness Karekin the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a memorial service was held for the Armenians who died as a result of the natural disaster in the Lori and Tavush marzes in the Saint Hovhannes the Baptist and Saint Vardan chapel-baptism of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
