H.E. On May 27, under the patronage of His Holiness Karekin the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, a memorial service was held for the Armenians who died as a result of the natural disaster in the Lori and Tavush marzes in the Saint Hovhannes the Baptist and Saint Vardan chapel-baptism of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Etchmiadzin Congregation and the faithful people present prayed for the repose of the souls of the innocent victims, as well as for the speedy recovery of those affected by the disaster and the injured.
