When will the new government be formed? "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

New elections of the National Assembly will be held on June 7. However, even after the final summary of the results, the current National Assembly and government will continue to hold office.

And when will the new prime minister be appointed, when will the first session of the newly elected National Assembly take place, and when will the new government be formed? According to the Constitution, the President of the Republic immediately appoints the candidate nominated by the parliamentary majority established in accordance with Article 89 of the Constitution as Prime Minister after the term of office of the newly elected National Assembly begins.

The first session of the National Assembly will also take place on that day. Constitutional expert Vardan Poghosyan in a conversation with "Fact" states that the Constitution clearly states when the powers of the National Assembly begin and end. The National Assembly of this current convocation started its work on August 2, 2021.

Five years expires on August 2, 2026. It is clearly defined by Article 90, Part 2 of the Constitution: the term of office of the National Assembly begins on the day of the end of the term of office of the Parliament of the previous convocation. In other words, the first session of the National Assembly will take place on August 2.

Most likely, the RA President will appoint the Prime Minister on the same day. By the way, since August 2 is Sunday, it is possible that the session will be held and the Prime Minister will be appointed on the next day, August 3. As for the formation of the government, according to the Constitution, it is formed within fifteen days after the appointment of the prime minister, that is, until August 16 at the most.
