According to the statement, the strikes in Iran targeted the military facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces), weapons depots, missile development and production facilities, as well as air defense systems. In general, "dozens of targets" located in the territory of Iran were struck, the statement said.
In Lebanon, attacks were made on the military facilities of the Shiite "Hezbollah" organization. In particular, the Israeli Air Force hit missile installations, weapons depots and command centers of the Radvan special forces. The army said more than 140 targets were hit in Lebanon during the series of strikes.
