"Zhoghovurd" daily writes: According to reports, the government led by Nikol Pashinyan has given a political agreement so that a number of figures who have been in the Russian Federation in recent years and who have been politically active from afar will get the opportunity to return to Armenia and participate in the elections to be held on June 7, by presenting themselves in the domestic political field.
This, in particular, refers to the wanted Artur Asatryan (Don Pipo), Mihran Poghosyan (better known in the public sphere as "Katherine Mihran"), as well as Minister of Defense Arshak Karapetyan, who was previously dismissed by Nikol Pashinyan, and other figures. According to information, the mentioned persons will have the opportunity to return to Armenia and participate in the elections scheduled for June 7 in the political competition field, competing with the "Civil Agreement" party.
It is expected that in the near future they will try to enter the political field through active campaigning and public activities. According to political observations, the decision on the issue is considered to have been made, and it is also considered in the context that Nikol Pashinyan is planning a visit to the Russian Federation, where, according to some estimates, issues related to internal political processes may also be on the agenda of the discussions.
There have been no official clarifications on the topic yet, but it is expected that the developments to be formed in the political field in the near future will clarify the scope of the process and the possible impact on the electoral competition (K)".
