Skier Mikayel Mikayelyan, a member of the Armenian Olympic team, took the 53rd place with a time of 23:06.4 minutes in the 10 km interval (freestyle) competition of the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina, Italy.
A total of 113 skiers participated in the competition.
Tomorrow, on February 14, mountain skier Harutyun Harutyunyan will take part in giant downhill, and on February 16, in downhill competitions.
The sports pair of figure skating Karina Akopova-Nikita Rakhmani will perform in the qualifying round of the short program on February 15. The qualifying round of the free program will take place on February 16.
