"Yeremyan Projects" has opened a state-of-the-art factory for the production of dairy products


2 hectares of production area: 2,500 square meters of storage area, 1,000 square meters of cold storage, 6,000 square meters of milk production plant, laboratories and R&D center, 150 thousand liters of milk processing potential per day. On May 24, "Yeremyan Projects" company officially launched the "Yeremyan Products" state-of-the-art milk processing plant in Yerevan.
It was built within the framework of a large investment project, which was launched in 2022, when the RA government, the Eurasian Development Bank (EBDB), and "Yeremyan Farm" signed a memorandum of cooperation. The purpose of the cooperation stipulated in the memorandum is to ensure the food security and sustainable economic development of the Republic of Armenia in the field of agro-industry. Within the framework of the investment project, the first and unique livestock complex in Armenia was built in one year in the Tashir community of Lori region, the opening of which took place in October 2023. The construction of the milk processing plant was the last and final stage of the investment project. The official opening of the plant was attended by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, RA Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, EDB Senior Executive Director Denis Ilyin, representatives of partner organizations, Yeremyan Projects. team members: "As the Government, we support all those businessmen who create new products, establish jobs, contribute to the strengthening and development of the country's economy," RA Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said in his speech and added: "The establishment of this new factory is a message. , that we pay great attention to quality, international standards, and this factory will produce products in accordance with the specified standards, which is very important not only because our citizens will be presented with high-quality, safe and international-standard products, but also in the future for serious export has prospects."
EDB Senior Executive Director Denis Ilyin said in his speech: "This project is really a bright example of an EDB-made project, when we started working with a partner from the concept stage, developed the financing structure, design and technical documents and brought the project to the end of the investment stage. Moreover, this is also a vertically integrated project. from sowing and harvesting feed in own fields to supplying it to the farm and producing a wide range of dairy and meat products. In fact, this is not one, but a whole group of projects that "Yeremyan Projects" has successfully implemented. And today we are opening a dairy factory, which will provide the Armenian market with a new, large volume of high-quality dairy products that are in great demand." Davit Yeremyan, general director of Yeremyan Projects company, noted: "I have mentioned many times that with this project we also assumed a great responsibility to develop a new culture of both modern animal husbandry and milk production and consumption of dairy products in Armenia." High quality has been and remains a primary principle for us. In the process of producing high-quality milk, it is very important to carry out proper processing of milk, and for this the conditions are the most important. Thanks to this factory, we can confidently say that we produce milk and milk products that meet the highest standards. The factory is equipped with 4 laboratories with special equipment, thanks to which we will monitor every stage of production. This is one of the unique dairy factories in Armenia that has a Research and Development (R&D) center. In other words, we will not only check and control, but we will conduct on-site studies and experiments, we will constantly introduce new products to our consumers," added Davit Yeremyan, and in his speech thanked the project parties, partner and team for their trust, effective cooperation and implemented for a huge amount of work.
It should be noted that ISO standards include air and space cleanliness, effective management of all work processes, hygiene control mechanisms, etc. The factory has about 70 separate departments, in each of which strict control is implemented. The entire area of ​​the factory has a centralized ventilation system, thanks to which the production areas are provided with sterilized clean air and appropriate temperature. The factory is built in such a way that employees and all existing nodes do not come into contact with the outside and external air. the factory has a canteen for employees, a smoking room, and a medical station. The state-of-the-art factory will provide an opportunity to multiply the production capacity, introduce new products. Soon "Yeremyan Products" will be replenished with 50 new dairy products, including a wide variety of locally produced European cheeses.
