"On April 19, 2022, the National Assembly ratified the agreement "On the use of navigation tools for tracking transportation in the Eurasian Economic Union."
"ArmGPS" SP company was recognized as the winner of the tender held on the basis of the agreement. However, according to the information received by "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, a number of officials did not comply with the requirements presented to the participants of the competition, and without sufficient grounds, the commission declared the winner the participant who had no chance to win. "Zhoghovurd" daily applied to the RA General Prosecutor's Office to find out whether there is an initiated criminal procedure in this case.
In response to our inquiry No. 115/6341-2026 of January 16, 2026, the prosecutor's office informed: "On April 1, 2025, criminal proceedings were initiated in accordance with Article 441, Part 2, Clause 4 of the Criminal Code. A preliminary investigation is being conducted." Thus, the questions raised about the course of the competition are in the center of attention of the law enforcement officers, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing."
