Narek Mkrtchyan, a member of the Armenian youth weightlifting team, weight 81 kg, won a gold medal in the U20 European Championship in Poland with a result of 341 kg.

Mkrtchyan showed a result of 150 kg with three successful approaches in the snatch exercise and won the small bronze medal of the exercise.

In the push exercise, the Armenian weightlifter again successfully performed all approaches and won the small gold medal with a result of 191 kg.
