Zvezdan Terzic, general director of the Belgrade club, said that one of the Russian clubs was ready to pay 5.5 million euros for Tiknisian, but the team's coach insisted that the player stay in the team.
"We have an offer of 5.5 million euros from Russia. I will not give the name of the club. Stankovic was literally begging me, saying: Terza, for God's sake, don't touch Tiknisian, his energy, his hard work," Mondo quoted Terzic as saying.
Dejan Stankovic confirmed that he asked the management not to make changes in the current team composition. According to him, "Tsrvena Zvezda" has a fairly strong and balanced team that can solve the highest problems both in the domestic arena and in the European Cups.
Later it became known that "Krasnodar" wanted to acquire Tiknisyan and carry out the transfer this winter.
