The memorandum signed with the USA, which the government tries to present as a great diplomatic success, actually creates new threats and deepens Armenia's internal and external vulnerability. While the authorities talk about "new opportunities", the reality is completely the opposite. the state is gradually losing its resistance, and the government is losing its control over political and social processes.
Arrests of opposition figures, pressures on public activists and political persecution have become one of the main reasons for the international response. Western partners visit Armenia more and more often not to deepen cooperation, but to raise concerns. The behavior of the Armenian government contradicts the democratic standards on which international relations are built. As a result, Armenia clearly presents itself as a country where the government destroys the pillars of identity, law and social solidarity.
The idea of constitutional changes is also presented under the name of "modern identity", while in fact it has a clear external client.
