The heads of the government and various departments, as well as the senior CP members and a number of other officials have already submitted applications to participate in the 2026 parliamentary elections.
However, according to our sources, there is still a long way to go before any candidate appears on the final CP electoral list.
The preliminary list will be studied by the CP department, then a primaries will be held in the party on the example of Gyumri mayor elections, after which only it will be clarified who deserves a place in the party's pre-election list.
The coming months will be crucial for the representatives of the government, because the primaries will start in March."
