This is talked about a lot. And in fact, we are sure that Pashinyan is not interested in all that.
He clearly solves or tries to solve the problem set before him, that is, to seize the Mother See at any cost, seize the Veharan and dethrone the Catholicos of All Armenians by force. Okay, why does Pashinyan, despite the small number of participants, not only continue his political actions, "liturgical" rallies, but also targets a new monastery, church each time for this purpose? One of the possible purposes is that he thus "cuts off" the mentioned monasteries to a certain extent from the Mother See. In any case, the monasteries where he stepped and where an anti-canonical performance was made for him under the name of "mass" are perceived by the public as defiled sanctuaries.
With the anti-liturgy, those monasteries are somewhat alienated from the Armenian Apostolic Church in the eyes of society. Well, at least that is what Nkol Pashinyan hopes for and strives for.
At the same time, he creates a split in the clergy, finds some "clergymen", one or two, then three or four, little by little, but he finds a split to that extent. And it does it consistently. Yes, many mock, point out the low number of participants in anti-"liturgies" and so on. But Pashinyan does not care about such "trifles".
His war is against the Armenian Apostolic Church, and he pursues the problem set before him. it cuts off the monasteries from the Church, cuts off the Christians from the defiled monasteries, creates division within the congregation, so that with the following actions, step by step, it comes closer to seizing the Mother See. Judging by the 48 percent of Vagharshapat election results and the demonstrably excited, Pashinyan is ready to carry out his "crushing" attack on the Mother Cathedral, the Mother See and the Cathedral in the near future.
