We are carrying out works in a number of directions for the continuous development of public transport in the city of Yerevan, to have a more comfortable and safe traffic for passengers.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page: "Particularly, we have acquired 171 new buses and 15 new trolleybuses, in parallel with this, we are increasing the number of bus lines intended for public transport in the capital, installing new bus stops and working in several directions: in order to purchase new rolling stock in the future. You know that from November 1, certain changes are expected when using public transport.
The goal is to smoothly transition to a unified ticket system from 2025, during which it will be possible to pay in a variety of ways. We want to have a continuously developing public transport in the city of Yerevan, and we are moving in that direction."
