"Recently, against the background of noticeable passivity of NA Speaker Alen Simonyan, the hyperactivity of Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan has become prominent, not only in the NA session hall, in contacts with the opposition, but also on the Internet.
He has become an expert in everything and presents his authoritative opinion every day. In the team, Rubinyan's behavior was perceived as a bid for the position of NA Speaker for the next term.
There is an opinion that Pashinyan has announced a casting call for that position and has started looking for candidates. The criteria are: loyalty to himself, strong cursing of his chosen targets, active participation in the events he has undertaken, and now the self-nomination phase has begun.
The other candidate is Hayk Konjoryan, head of CP faction, but he is also very discredited. The CP decided that the candidate for Pashinyan's heart at the moment is Lilit Makunts, the former ambassador of Armenia to the USA, who is one of the gray cardinals of Pashinyan's cabinet and is currently engaged in party work.
This assumption also stems from Pashinyan's love for female officials.
