"Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during his working visit to the Holy See (Vatican City) on October 19, at the Levon School attached to the St. Nicholas Armenian Catholic Church in Rome, he met with the Most Reverend and Most Reverend Father Raphael Petros IA (21st) Minasyan and the students of the school. During this visit, Nikol Pashinyan was presented with a rather expensive and symbolic gift.
"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper learned that the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate of Lebanon presented the prime minister with a relic of St. Ignatius Maloyan, a priest's dress, which is used during the liturgy and is kept in the museum of Zmmar monastery (Lebanon). The gift of Nikol Pashinyan, who supported the false liturgy in the Armenian Apostolic Church and launched a campaign against the clergy, cost 317 thousand 658 drams.
During the same visit, the State Secretary of the Holy See presented Pashinyan with a bronze sculpture with the engraving "Fratelli tutti", which means "all are brothers". The value of the gift was 80 thousand 457 drams, which was handed over to the Corruption Prevention Commission. The next day, the Pope of Rome also presented Pashinyan with a gilded high sculpture made on the basis of gypsum, which cost 309 thousand 379 drams.
The Secretary of State of the Holy See also presented Nikol Pashinyan with an official silver commemorative medal, which was issued during the reign of Pope Francis (2013-2025), on the occasion of the 2025 jubilee. The commemorative medal cost 62 thousand 477 drams.
Whether this is a sign that the Holy See supports Nikol Pashinyan in his campaign against the Mother See is questionable, but the latter's reception was quite lavish."
