"Fact" daily writes:
According to our sources, the sons of the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Mikael Harutyunyan, who are in Russia, took an active part in the formation of sanctions against a number of Russian officials of Ukraine, the EU and the USA in recent years.
In some cases, personal revenge of the Harutyunyans was their basis. They turned to the Anti-Corruption Foundation, founded by Alexei Navalny, which operates in the format of anti-corruption disclosures, is financed by Western institutions and is often used as a key link in order to create information packages necessary for sanctions.
On the basis of the materials transferred by them to FBK, appropriate "packaged" newsletters were prepared, which were sent to the Western partners.
That mechanism, according to our data, has become the basis for launching a number of sanctions. As a result of all this, a number of figures, for example, Boris Obnosov, Alexey Repik, Alexey Krivoruchko, Pyotr Aven, came under sanctions. One of the targets of this process is Mkrtich Okroyan, an Armenian businessman with long-term experience in the Russian military-technical field, who works on closed projects, and whose name rarely appears in open sources. However, according to the sources, the sanctions applied to him were not political, but exclusively personal in nature.
In all this, it is interesting that Mikael Harutyunyan continues to live in Russia, while his sons cooperate with one of the most anti-Russian structures in the West, FBK, to participate in sanctions processes against high-ranking representatives of the Russian system.
