On November 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili in Tbilisi. This was reported by the RA MFA.
The interlocutors discussed issues of bilateral partnership agenda between Armenia and Georgia.
Both sides emphasized that Armenia and Georgia are united by the traditional friendship and commonalities between the peoples, mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of both states, as well as stable economic ties.
Referring to regional issues, Minister Mirzoyan noted.
"The beneficiary of the established peace is not only Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also Georgia, the entire region. Connectivity across a wider geography will also benefit from this." Minister Mirzoyan added that its organic continuation will be the development of cooperation in the South Caucasus, including in a tripartite format. The President of Georgia expressed his support for this vision.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of RA and the President of Georgia exchanged ideas on the implementation of new initiatives on the path of the important mission of developing partnership between the two countries, effective interaction in overcoming challenges in modern conditions.
