A coalition of politicians is forming in Europe that opposes EU leaders' approach to migration and the Ukraine conflict. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Sijarto after the meeting with the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev in Sofia.
"An alliance of European politicians against war and mass migration is being created, and Bulgaria is a key member," the foreign minister said in a video message broadcast on M1 TV. He noted that the meeting with Radev allowed Hungary and Bulgaria to "strengthen their common positions" on these issues.
Szijjártó emphasized that they agreed to "support peace efforts and a negotiated settlement [of the Ukrainian conflict], because otherwise this war will never end." "The solution can be found only through diplomacy, only at the negotiating table. Therefore, Hungary is ready to host the peace summit, and we will continue to support Donald Trump's efforts," Szijjarto assured.
