The Trump administration has begun planning an anti-narcotics mission in Mexico and has not ruled out the use of troops, NBC reported, citing officials.
"The Trump administration has begun detailed planning for a new mission to send U.S. troops and intelligence officers to Mexico to fight drug cartels," the publication said.
According to sources of the TV channel, the early stages of preparation for a possible mission, which will include ground operations in the territory of Mexico, have already begun.
