Four hours after the opening of polling stations, participation in the parliamentary elections in Georgia was 22.22 percent. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of the country informs about this.
There are parliamentary elections in Georgia on October 26. 18 parties participate in them, including the ruling "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia", which has been in power for 12 years. In order to enter the parliament, the parties must overcome the threshold of five percent.
Earlier, the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Natia Ioseliani, said that as of 10:00 (09:00 Moscow time), 324,197 voters (9.27%) participated in the elections.
