Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump may discuss a new world energy map free of Europe during a meeting in Hungary, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.
The telephone conversation between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump took place on Thursday and was one of the longest this year. After the conversation, Trump announced that he will meet with the Russian leader in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
"I would say that it will determine the future of the world. I'm sure they will talk about other things as well, not only about Ukraine, but also about the new energy map of the world - how it will be divided between the two world powers, always taking into account a strong China, because without it there is no settlement.
I'm not sure how much they will take Europe into account, I don't know how useful this is for us, we are part of Europe, I'm not entirely sure that Europe will remain the main role, I don't think it will happen, judging by what the world's biggest players are doing," Vucic told reporters.
