FT. Saudi Arabia and the US may sign a military cooperation agreement

Saudi Arabia and the United States plan to sign a military cooperation agreement in November, according to which both sides will consider any attack on the Arab country as a "threat to peace and security", reports the British newspaper Financial Times (FT), citing sources.

According to him, the deal can be concluded during the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud to the United States next month. The agreement is expected to be "robust" and include enhanced military and intelligence cooperation.

A high-ranking White House official told the newspaper that "negotiations are underway to sign any documents during the crown prince's visit," but "the details have not yet been finalized."
