Azerbaijan is trying to increase its supplies to Europe to export its energy resources to Europe, which competes with Russian supplies. On the other hand, Turkey and Azerbaijan are actively promoting the average corridor project, a transit route connecting Europe to Europe, which bypasses Russia's territory.
It is clear that Russia cannot come to terms with the South Caucasus and Central Asia, which are vital zones to take it out with their aspirations. Therefore, it is no coincidence that tensions have once again been intensified in August as a result of Russian strikes in SOCAR of Azerbaijan.
