The incident took place in the village of Malopata on the bank of the Brahman River. The elderly local resident grazed animals when the crocodile attacked him and dragged water. Later, his body was removed from the water, but the man died.
According to the forest inspector, the men's family will be included in the compensation program when the autopsy conclusion is ready.
Before that, in another case, the crocodile had caught the father of four children and dragged into the water before the family. The locals tried to help, but while they reached, the man disappeared in the water.
