"As you know, relations between Georgia and the EU, unfortunately, are at a historically low level, the process of Georgia's European integration is suspended. EU leaders have clearly stated that this is the result of the actions of the Georgian government.

For me, as the ambassador of the European Union, it is very sad to see that other countries are moving forward in terms of EU integration, and Georgia is leaving the EU instead of getting closer.

Look at what happened in Moldova. People voted in the EU membership referendum, but every vote counts. The turnout was very low, so go out and vote, vote for your and your children's future," the ambassador said. Gerchinsky, calling on the citizens of Georgia to vote on October 26, emphasized that everything is in the hands of the citizens.
