For me, as the ambassador of the European Union, it is very sad to see that other countries are moving forward in terms of EU integration, and Georgia is leaving the EU instead of getting closer.

Look at what happened in Moldova. People voted in the EU membership referendum, but every vote counts. The turnout was very low, so go out and vote, vote for your and your children's future," the ambassador said. Gerchinsky, calling on the citizens of Georgia to vote on October 26, emphasized that everything is in the hands of the citizens. "The European Union said loud and clear that last December we decided to open the door for Georgia, we are waiting for you, but you have to go through this door, no one will do it for you.
