The talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Belarusian partner Maxim Rymphenkov have started in Moscow, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
Negotiations will include a wide range of bilateral cooperation and international agenda, in particular, the ministers will exchange views on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, including in the context of Russian-Ukrainian talks.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that the parties will discuss the practical aspects of cooperation between the Russian-Belarusian Foreign Ministries, including the preparations for the joint sitting of the Board of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Belarus in St. Petersburg. In addition, the implementation of a plan of consultation on the foreign policy of the States Parties to the Foreign Policy of the States Parties and the current year's foreign ministries of the State Foreign Ministries shall be discussed.
