Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan plans to join the talks between Russia and Ukraine in the Chair of Chiragan Chamber of Istanbul, a Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Ministry source told RIA Novosti that a meeting of Russian and Ukrainian delegations to the Chiragan Palace in Istanbul is scheduled for Moscow.
"He plans to join," said the agency's source, answering the question of the possibility of Fidan's participation in Istanbul's talks.
The Russian delegation to Istanbul includes the head of the delegation, Russian President's Assistant Vladimir Medinsky and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Head of the General Staff of the Russian Military Staff and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Russian delegation is ready to submit a memorandum on the settlement on June 2 during the second round of talks in Istanbul.
