Iran has received a proposal on the time and place of the fifth round of talks on the crisis over the Iranian nuclear program. This was reported by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic Kazem Gharibabadi.
"We have offered a proposal on the next stage of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, which is currently under discussion," he said on Iranian state television.
Speaking about the recent American sanctions against Tehran, Gharibabadi noted that these "unilateral punitive means, which are often presented as diplomatic tools, contradict the norms of international law" and "disrupt the economies of all states."
"As part of the so-called maximum pressure policy, the disruption of the supply of vital medicines and equipment is especially acute. Patients with many cancer and chronic diseases remain without the necessary treatment, "the diplomat said.
