May 9 is a special day, the day of the great victory and the heroic heroism of the people of the USSR. Every year, the May morning is filled with a unique light that combines all of us in the face of general memory.
Yes, this is our common holiday. Eventually, the victory in the Great Patriotic War became the symbol of unbelievable courage and spiritual greatness of the Soviet people.
It is difficult to imagine how our ancestors have gone through, for the general victory, which united the various peoples of the Soviet Union. Despite the fact that victory costs about the Soviet Union (the total human losses in the war), the Soviet soldier was able to maintain the best lines of his national character with the representatives of all peoples of the Soviet Union. This once again proved the simple truth that the people are invincible if it is united.
About 600,000 Armenians took part in the Great Patriotic War. The famous Armenian village of Chardharlu became a real symbol of patriotism. 1250 men went to the front from here. Two of them, Hamazasp Babajanyan and Ivan Baghramyan, became Marshalls of the USSR.
During the war, 106 Armenian servicemen were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Marshall Ivan Baghramyan and Legendary Pilot of Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Nelson Stepanyan became double heroes of the Soviet Union. It is a great pride for us that the only national division of the Red Army, which took part in the Berlin's attack, was Armenian, 89th Tamanyan Merchant Cutter Kutuzov's II Division of the Rifle and Red Star.
Our compatriots, the weapons of the Raykstag, and the song, the song, the weapon of the lips, the weapon, danced their victorious "Kochar" in the sounds of the arms of the Raichstag.
Still in the 18th century Scientist MV Lomonosov said: "The people, who does not know his past, have no future." I would add not only to remember the history of your people, but also passed it to the young offspring. Memorials, history lessons, books and films, all this must serve the memory of the heroes.
For this purpose, in 2023, the Russian-Armenian Friendship Park, which is named after the Soviet Union's double hero, has opened in Tyumen.
On the day of the solemn opening of the monument I.K. Baghramyan, the students of "Nairi" dance ensemble operating within the framework of the activities of the Tyairi Armenian Cultural Center, repeated the victorious dance of their ancestras. On that day, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, 99-year-old Nerses Oganesovich Simonyan, from Armenia, was among the honorary guests.
Time is merciless. Decades will pass, the generations will change, and the living memory of these events will disappear. That is why it is important that young people still have the opportunity to approach the veterans, listen to the incredible value of the victory. We look at them, wisely and full of trials, we admire their spirit and feel responsible for maintaining this bright memory for future generations. This memory is part of the common past without which there is no future. And we should not forget that the future begins today that we and our actions are an example for the younger generation. What the world will become in the coming decades depends on each of us. By transferring the relay of the memory to the younger generation, we hope that they will continue to bear the flag of the winners, keeping our common history and the high values of goodness, mutual help and dignity.
The Great Patriotic War has left a deep mark in the history of mankind. But despite the pain and sorrow caused by war, there were those who did not learn their lesson. Today, the warriors of the special military operation, as once their grandparents, made their grandparents in the Great Patriotic War, do not spare their homeland. Remembering the heroes of the past heroes, we need to know the names of today's heroes. And they are quite few.
Today we celebrate the anniversary of the victory, the 80th anniversary of the Soviet People's Endness. Taking the opportunity I want to turn to our favorite veterans and once again thanked for the victory and said that the memory of their invaluous heroism is alive and will always live in our hearts. Eternal glory and memory of all those who donated their lives for freedom and justice.
Let the victory and its memory always be with us, in our hearts, good deeds, constant care for the older generation and work for the benefit of the homeland.
