The White House called on Iran to stop threatening Trump. mass media

The United States has called on Iran's government to end all plots against Republican Donald Trump and said Washington would regard any attempt on his life as an act of war. This is reported by Reuters citing the words of an anonymous American official.

The interlocutor of journalists said that US President Joe Biden regularly receives such information about threats and has instructed his team to deal with Iranian conspiracies against Americans.

At Biden's direction, U.S. officials sent a message to the highest level of Iran's government, warning Tehran to end all plots against Trump and former U.S. officials, the official said.

He said the Iranians had been told that Washington would consider it an act of war if there was an assassination attempt on Trump.

It was recently reported that Trump's campaign requested a military jet for him in the final weeks of the US presidential race, expanded flight restrictions over his residences and installed bulletproof glass shields at his speaking venues.

These inquiries come after US intelligence has received information that Iran continues to actively seek to eliminate the presidential candidate.
