The number of serious crimes has increased. Numbers. "PEOPLE"

Zhoghovurd daily writes:

"Every dawn begins in the Republic of Armenia with murder, stabbing, hooliganism, cases of robbery and other reports of crime. The Prosecutor General must present statistical figures on the crime in the National Assembly.

Zhoghovurd daily reported that the crimes in the report of the 2024 activities of the RA Prosecutor General's Office are reported.

In 2023, 40,666 cases were registered, 18,397 were registered in the 2024 events (20,231 cases in 2023) in Yerevan. In 2024, there was an increase in small gravity and serious crimes. This was reported by the Prosecutor's Office. At the same time, cases of medium gravity and serious crimes have decreased.

Compared to 2023, the cases of small crimes increased by 337 or 1.7%, 20,361 cases, in 2024, and 12,848 cases, in 2024, and severely crimes were decreased by 598 or 9.8% in 2024. 6116 cases, in 2024, and the cases of particularly serious crimes increased by 422 or 25.1%, and in 2023, in 2024, and 1,2004 cases.

1502 out of 2100 cases of serious crimes are sudden cases. It should be noted that in 2023, the 1678 cases of duties registered from serious crimes were 1132. In other words, if the cases of particularly serious crimes are presented without suddenly, we can state that 598 cases of particularly serious crimes have been registered in 2024, compared to 546 last year.

Again, the crime rate has been registered. A higher figure has been recorded in 2014 in the last 10 years, 19.9%, in 2015, 20.0% and in 2023, 19.1%.
