Former Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan took part in a pre-election press conference before the return match with "Bavaria" in the Champions League.
"This is a great opportunity, but we have to focus on tomorrow's meeting," Mkhitaryan said during a pre-election press conference.
"It will be difficult against a very strong team. The coach built this team four years ago, I have been here for three years, and what in me is very important for the club. We want to support him, reaching our goals. Tomorrow we will do everything to win and go as far away as possible. After all, we will see whether we will go out to the final or not.
We need to give a maximum, and do everything we can to win tomorrow. We will have the great support of our fans, we hope to move together. We will focus on how we want to play, not "Bavaria". We play at home and want to give the most. We know that "Bavaria" will come to win, but we are also. It will not be easy, but we are ready, "Mkhitaryan said.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan also spoke about his future.
"I'm really happy to have reached this stage of my life and football career. Maybe it's not to happen again for a year or two, I may end my career at the end of the season, but now I'm really happy to play in this club and I'm happy with what we are trying to achieve, "he said.
