Aliyev considers Armenia's proposal unrealistic

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev considers Armenia's proposal to sign what has already been agreed upon in the peace treaty to be unrealistic. "It is absolutely not realistic," he said at the meeting with the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium.

According to him, all points of the Peace Treaty with Armenia are equally important and cannot be separated.

"The Armenian side often makes proposals that speak of the desire for peace, although it knows in advance that they cannot be accepted. Despite this, the process continues. The negotiations have been going on for about 2 years. Therefore, it is important to be patient, realistic and faithful in order to achieve peace in the South Caucasus," said Aliyev.

Let's remind that RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the other day that Yerevan offers Baku to sign what has already been agreed, thus having not only de facto, but also de jure peace, and to continue working on all other issues.
