In Uzbekistan, the parents of the children will be fined

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan threatened to fine the parents of quadrobers. Gazeta.uz wrote about this, referring to the department.

Quadrobers are people, mostly teenagers, who wear animal masks and try to imitate their behavior, plasticity, and movements.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that quadrobikes have spread in Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine, and now "such unacceptable actions have been observed" in Uzbekistan. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on October 10, a quadrober with an animal mask was spotted in Tashkent, and on October 11, a quadrober who identified himself as a dog attacked passengers.

"These circumstances contradict the rules of behavior in society, and such behavior is completely unacceptable," the agency said. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Quadrober-child can "take over the aggressive actions of animals" and harm himself and others.

The department informed that "cases of manifestation of such subculture will be qualified as failure of parents to fulfill their responsibilities". According to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, a fine starting from 1.875 million soums ($146) is planned for this.

In addition, the authorities may conduct a special psychological examination of children "to determine how quadrobics affects the child's mental and emotional health."
