Iran's and US talks in Oman will take place through mediators, not directly, as the representatives of the US administration have previously stated. The statement came from President of the Islamic Republic Massoud Peseshkyan.
"Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Oman will present the instructions of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in indirect talks with US representatives," the press service of Pezeshkian quoted.
On April 7, US President Donald Trump announced that the talks between Iran and the United States will be held directly, and the next day the Spokeswoman for Spokesman of the White House Caroline Levith made the same statement.
