Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has stated that a rally near the April 9 Memorial at Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi, is being held by foreign forces.
"Today, foreign forces tried to provoke violence on Rustaveli Avenue, and when they did not succeed. We cannot provide additional energy to hate and avoid any small provocations planned by external forces, "the press service of the government quoted Kobakhidze as saying.
The opposition supporters spent all night on Rustaveli Avenue in front of the Georgian Parliament building. At the moment, on April 9, 1989, a memorial to the victims took place, and the situation regularly escalates.
