Indonesian President Prabovo Subiano stated that the country is ready to temporarily accept 1,000 wounded from Gaza and orphans.
According to Jakarta Globe, Prabovo Subiano is currently leaving for the Middle East with the leaders of negotiations to resolve the crisis in Gaza.
Immediately before boarding the plane, the President of Indonesia told reporters about the residents of Gaza and their intention to leave them in Indonesia until the situation has improved in the region. Indonesia is open to the first stage to take about 1000 Gaza residents, said prabovo Subiano.
"We are ready to accept the wounded. We will immediately send our Foreign Minister Sujiono to consult the Palestinian government and the parties to the region, "he said.
Indonesia intends to use its planes to evacuate the citizens of the Gaza Strip.
