The "Fact" daily writes:
The second visit of the EU Expert Mission to Armenia kicked off yesterday, the purpose of which, according to official report, to assess Armenia's progress to liberalize visas.
In general, the authorities have recently started talking about this topic more often.
In January, Nikol Pashinyan said that he hoped that he would be able to end the talks on visa liberalization as soon as possible.
However, the more it talks about it, the more the possibility of Armenian citizens and a Schengen visa complicates. We regularly receive information that visa support centers (especially in France and Italy) are just into hell to people's lives.
First of all, a number of citizens who applied to us complained that everything was done to be given a visa "from the first time". Well, every application is about 35,000 drams (visa money + Visa Center Fee).
First of all, we are talking about those who are trying to apply for themselves, not to use the paid service of the same centers (an additional 25-30 thousand drams). And when it is obvious that there is no reason to refuse (say, visas for different times previously), "suddenly" is found to be in paper or "bugh", for example, something is wrong or less.
No more normal attitudes. On the contrary, in a conversation with us, people mentioned how rude and "above" they communicate with them.
By the way, all this, first of all, damages the authorities of embassies and EU member states, but maybe the government is obliged to deal with these issues. After all, we are talking about the citizens of Armenia.
