Serbia and Hungary are going to create a defense alliance, Vuchic said

Serbia and Hungary have clarified strategic cooperation in 2025 and will hold a maximum number of joint events, which will draw the establishment of a future military alliance between official Belgrade and Budapest, said Serbian President Alexander Vuchic.

Hungarian Defense Minister Cristoff Shalay-Bobrovnich has arrived in Serbia on Tuesday, where he was solemnly celebrated Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gashic at Bathainitsa's military airport near Belgrade. Afterwards, the head of the Hungarian Defense Ministry received the President of Serbia.

In the presence of Vuchic, Shalay-Bobrovnichkin and Gashich signed a bilateral military cooperation plan in 2025 and the document on the implementation of strategic defense cooperation between Serbia and Hungary.
